POOL by Antilooppi becomes largest flexible office network in Helsinki region

POOL allows companies of all sizes to assemble the space solution that suits their needs at any time, easily and flexibly. The popularity of POOL shows that there is a great demand for workspaces that are attractive, sustainable and adjust to today’s changing professional needs. The network is now expanding with two new locations in Kalasatama and Ruoholahti, both in Helsinki.

The POOL full-service flexible office network from Antilooppi is expanding. POOL Itämerenkatu 3 in Ruoholahti will open in December, and another new location, POOL Verk, will open in February 2024 near the Teurastamo complex in Kalasatama. That will make POOL the largest flexible office concept in the Helsinki region, with eleven locations. Today, flexibility is one of the most important criteria for workspaces as companies seek to reduce their offices’ floor area. Firms can agilely supplement their offices with quality small offices, hot desks, conference and function rooms, paying only for what they use. The premises are crowned by pleasant kitchens and break rooms, project spaces and a lounge. Businesses can provide flexible workspaces as a staff benefit, and for some companies the flexible spaces can offer much-needed sociability. Antilooppi is happy to offer its clients either the entire POOL network or just parts of it, depending on the client’s needs.

POOL Verk represents an industrial spirit that draws on New York’s popular Meatpacking District.

As is characteristic of POOL, each location has its own particular identity, expressed in the smallest details. The POOL location on Itämerenkatu exudes the spirit of London’s trendy East End and combines old and new, such as interesting design and recycled furniture. POOL Verk near Teurastamo, on the other hand, represents an industrial spirit that draws on New York’s popular Meatpacking District. POOL Verk emphasizes sustainability throughout: it uses only recycled materials, from vintage furnishings to sustainable surface materials and second-hand coffee mugs. To avoid unnecessary renovations, alterations at both locations have been kept to a minimum. Sustainability is crucial to Antilooppi’s POOL concept, which is Finland’s first completely carbon-neutral office network.

Antilooppi will develop POOL actively and with a focus on clients. Many companies are still in the midst of the disruption to the changing world of work, unsure of which space solution is the most sensible for them. Companies seek sociable offices that support well-being, but which do not bind them for years. “We scale our spaces to our clients’ life-cycle needs and offer much-needed flexibility in spaces, services and leases. We offer solutions that will keep pace with future changes,” Antilooppi’s Director of Customer Experience & Concept Johanna Sarekoski says.

“Today, sustainable employers consider not only how sustainable the office is, but also how well their employees are faring. There are not just different ways of working — there are also different people and situations. We genuinely believe that we can help and support our clients through changes regardless of the way they and their employees work. There are different ways of working and we have to support all of them,” Antilooppi CEO Tuomas Sahi says.
